Sudan's COVID-19 cases rise to 237

Khartoum/Xinhua/UNI: Sudan has announced 24 new infections with COVID-19, bringing the total number of the confirmed cases in the country to 237.

The death toll reached 21, said Sudan's Health Ministry in a statement on Sunday.

The ministry also announced one recovery, bring the total number of recoveries to 20.

It urged the citizens to abide by the health guidelines and immediately report any suspected cases.

On April 18, the capital Khartoum entered into a full curfew as part of the measures to stem the virus spread.
