Swine Flu: Aligarh Muslim University suspends classes till Feb 25

Aligarh, Feb 16 (IBNS): The Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh on Monday announced that all classes will remain suspended till Feb 25 as a precautionary measure against the possible spread of the H1N1 virus.

In a notice, the university said: " In view of the some confirmed and several suspected cases of swine Flu, the Vice Chancellor has ordered that all the classes in the University and its maintained institutions including schools will remain suspended till 25th February , 2015. However, all offices including academic departments, hospitals and others institutions will continue to function as usual."

The Swine Flu has hit several Indian states this year.

However, Rajasthan and Gujarat have witnessed the maximum number of deaths so far.
