Syed Ali Geelani admitted in hospital

Srinagar, Mar 10 (IBNS) Senior separatist leader and APHC chairman Syed Ali Geelani was admitted at a hospital in New Delhi after he complained of chest pain on Thursday.

Party leader who was in Delhi told IBNS, Geelani went today for routine checkup at Escort Hospital in Delhi when he returns back to partly residence at Malviya Nagar New Delhi ailing leader complained of chest pain following which he was admitted at the hospital.

“Geelani, is stable now and is still under observation after the heart attack, doctors have collect some crucial tests of the Geelani and we are waiting for the reports,” said  a leader who was in Delhi with Shah Geelani.

Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir former Chief Minister and National Conference President Omar Abdullah prayed for his speedy recover.

"Just heard about SAS Geelani having taken ill, admitted to the ICU in a Delhi hospital. Prayers for his speedy recovery," Mr Abdullah posted on Twitter.
