UK to recognise India's Covaxin, no quarantine required for fully vaccinated travellers
London/IBNS: Britain on Monday said it would give approval to India's indigenous COVID-19 vaccine-Covaxin-and travellers inoculated with both the shots will not be required to quarantine, media reports said.
The decision to include India's Covaxin and China's Sinopharm to their approved list of vaccines will come into force from Nov 22.
It will benefit fully vaccinated people from India as Serum Insitute's Covishield was already approved earlier.
The decision was taken as a part of revamped travel rules, which are being further simplified.
