10,000 youth to participate in Sathya Sai World Youth Festival

Hyderabad, July 6 (IBNS): The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India (SSSSO India) and Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) - a multi cultural spiritual service Organisation, today announced the 1st Satya Sai World Youth Festival will be held from July 12 to 14 at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh.

Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India will inaugurate the festival and former cricketer VVS Laxman will be the guest of honour.

Over 10,000 youth from around 70 countries would be participating in the unique 3 day momentous event. These include about 3,000 international youth delegates of Sathya Sai International Organization from 67 countries and 1,300 from across India. The three-day event is aimed at addressing the importance of human values amongst the youth, in daily lives and their practice through love and selfless service, for the betterment of the world. The Sathya Sai International Organization devoted to spread the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and actively serves Sathya Sai devotees in over 120 countries around the world.

The youth delegates will share their valuable experience gained in their respective countries at this festival with the youth, thus disseminating the universal and eternal message of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The festival will feature eminent speakers across the world such as Dr. Chandrasekhar Narayan Director of Research IBM USA; Mr. R. Venkataramanan Executive Director TATA Foundation, etc.

An outstanding international exhibition and a bouquet of cultural activities showcasing the cultural heritage of many countries will also be organized. The festival will also host eminent dignitaries from the Sathya Sai Organisations in India and abroad. In addition, many new and innovative service projects in India and abroad will be discussed on a single platform.

Nimish Pandya, All India President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations of India, said, “With Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s blessings, it is a great privilege to have all the young members of the organization on a single platform. We would urge the delegates to take full advantage of the platform and have a valuable take-away for their life from the speaking sessions. I would also like to urge the delegates to participate in the exhibitions and enjoy the cultural activities from all countries.”

The festival will have participation from 70 countries bringing together the diverse culture. We are committed to spread this message amongst the youth across the world,” added Narendranath Reddy, Chairman, Prasanthi Council, Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO).
