Artist Swati Pasari's art exhibition in Kolkata was a lesson in positive thoughts
Having participated in exhibitions worldwide, she came back to Kolkata with her mystic collection at Emami Chisel Art.
Pallavi Chatterjee along with other art specialists were present to inaugurate the exhibition.
Most of the sculptures, murals and paintings were based on mythology and divinity but artist Pasari chose to explore their aesthetic appeal rather than focus on religions.
Spirituality sans religious boundaries was what the young artist wanted to portray.
The theme focused on celebrations, which was reflected in the vibrant splash of colours.
The sculptures modelled after Krishna, Buddha, Ganesha conveyed the spirituality imbued with positivity.
Pallavi Chatterjee said, “ Although a commerce student and without any professional training, Pasari's creations are amazing indeed.”
She also said, “So much of creative instincts exist in all of us that i sometimes wonder why don't people forget everything and give in to their positivity!”
The seven art pieces comprising of murals and sculptures were priced between Rs 40,000 and 3,00,000.
Swati Pasari, who is also a pranic healer, said, “It is through pranic healing that I truly realised my creativity and talent and I am blessed that people accepted it.”
