Kolkata, Sept 23 (IBNS) Cafe Mezzuna, the Forum Mall food joint, celebrated its anniversary recently by announcing 'Mexifornia Festival', a fiesta of American and Mexican cuisine along with exotic cocktails and mocktails.

Tollywood actor Parambrata Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty were present at the festival.

Param, a frequent visitor at the eatery said, "I have been here more than ten times."

Heaping lavish praise at their service he said, "Thing which appeals to me more is what Mezzuna originally serve, apart from Mediterranean and Italian food  they serve American and Mexican cuisine as well. Mediterranean foods are tasty as well as healthy and seldom both taste and health go together. They started a new ‘Mexifornia’ festival and thus I am here to taste the new cuisine."

“I loved spicy chicken with Cilantro sauce and grilled fish with chocolate sauce,” the Kahaani actor added.

'Mexifornia' enticed the oenophiles with a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The menu comprised of mocktails like Mango Vango, a drink made of mango juice and an exotic selection of long iced tea cocktails which were relished with delectable American and Mexican recipes.

During the festival Café Mezzuna offered a wide range of exotic Nachos with Salsa sour Cream, Mango and Tequila Glazed Prawn, Quesadillas, Burritos, Cheesy and Creamy Veg stuffed Corn Tortilla, Bourbon styled Grilled Chicken with Pink pepper and many more mouth-watering dishes.

The menu was specially crafted by legendary Tex Mex chef, Johnny Walsh.

Mimi Chakraborty said, “I am a great foodie I loved the beautiful ambiance of Café Mezzuna and the Mexican dishes they serve. It’s a great place to hang out with family and friends.”
