Durga Puja: Gariahat Hindustan Club supports artists amid economic crisis

Kolkata/IBNS: Gariahat Hindustan Club, a puja committee in south Kolkata, has pledged to celebrate Durga Puja amid the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19.

The club has decided to raise a fund of Rs. 10 lakh for all artists who work for Durga Puja.

The time period for the fund will be one year.

A single family can get maximum of Rs. 5000.

The distribution of the money will be decided by a committee constituted by the artists and the Durga Puja committee.

One ambulance will be given for all who are associated with the puja.
