IGNOU to celebrate its 30th Foundation Day on Nov 19

New Delhi, Nov 16 (IBNS) Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is gearing up to celebrate its Foundation Day on the Nov 19 when it completes 30 years of its existence.

The Headquarters at New Delhi and the Regional Centers spread across the country have planned a number of cultural events and academic activities on the occasion.

The Foundation Day Lecture on “Higher Education- Changing Scenario” will be delivered by Prof. Girish Chandra Tripathi, Vice Chancellor; Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Prof. Nageshwar Rao, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU and Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor IGNOU will preside over the function.
