Indian women celebrate Karwa Chauth
Kolkata, Oct 19 (IBNS): Indians on Wednesday celebrated Karwa Chauth, a Hindu festival for women.
It is a one day festival, observed mainly by the married women, who fast from a period of dawn till dusk, for the longevity of their spouses.
Karwa Chauth is a major event in several Indian states and most popular among the Marwari community.
