Korean skincare brand Healara enters Indian market

| @indiablooms | Nov 26, 2024, at 07:25 pm

Healara, a ground breaking skincare line from South Korea, was launched on Saturday at New Delhi's Yashobhhomi Convention Center.

This innovative brand is the result of a collaboration between Microalgae Ask Us, South Korea, and Amorisha Empires LLP, India.

According to the manufacturer, Healara is a revolutionary skincare line that harnesses the ocean's power to heal the skin. With a focus on vegan, animal cruelty-free products, Healara is committed to providing safe, effective skincare solutions for all skin types, the company said.

Dr. Cheol-Ho Pan, CEO of Microalgae Ask Us, highlighted the historical connections between India and South Korea during the launch. "Healara is harnessing the ocean's power to heal the skin, offering vegan, animal cruelty-free products," Dr. Pan stated.

The brand's initial launch features two key products: the Healara Core Brightening Fluid and the Healara Firming Ampoule.

A full range of products, including toner, cream, and sunscreen, will follow in 2025.

Dr. Sayan Dutta Gupta, CEO of Amorisha Empires, emphasized the uniqueness of the ingredients. "The use of fucoxanthin and microalgal extract in our cosmetics is a first for India," he said.

These ingredients are the result of extensive research by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and Microalgae Ask Us Ltd., who hold 12 patents related to microalgal culture and fucoxanthin extraction. Only five companies worldwide have successfully carried out this complex process.

The proprietary ingredients are known for their anti-inflammatory properties and have been clinically tested on humans.

"Unlike many traditional cosmetics, Healara products are free from the allergic reactions and red patches often caused by harsh chemicals. This ensures a safe, effective skincare experience for all skin types," the CEO said.

The event was attended by famous fashion influencers of Delhi.
