And I have to say that I got a call and the person on the other line said 'You are going to be very excited for this one'. I thought that was kind very arrogant. Then he said 'You have to be at the launch of Magnum in Kolkata' and I had to pretend to be less excited."

She added, "It is because I am, a self-professed fan of Magnum, I had been for many many years. I was very exited when it was launched in India. Before that, we had to go to England. My mother was the one who introduced us to Magnum, the Classic one. That was her favourite. So I'm super thrilled to be here."

The Masterclass began with the Chef inviting the audience to try different types of Belgian chocolates- white, milk and dark, highlighting how each of them was different.

Kunal also spoke about the characteristics of Belgian chocolates like, the fact that it contains a minimum of 35% cocoa, the highest cocoa content in the world.

Kunal and Soha designed their own Magnum sundae, 'Magnum Patishapta', by pairing the icecream with the Bengali dessert.

Later the audience were divided in groups and were asked to design their own sundae using Magnum icecreams.

On being asked about her favourite memory of Kolkata, Soha said, "So many things, but the first thing that comes to my mind is Alipore Road and my grandparents' house. Sitting by my grandfather's knee as he taught me nursery rhymes."

She quickly added, "And also, food is such an integral part of our culture. Especially, the latter half of the meal, which were the desserts."

On being asked about his favourite Bengali dessert, Kunal said, "I like Patishapta. With Patishapta, its very classic, its simple, its doable and its full of flavours."

Starting Mar 1, 2015, Magnum ice creams will be available in three different flavours- Classic, Almond and Chocolate Truffle in Kolkata.
