L'Oreal Paris launches gel sunscreen
L'Oréal Paris noted that, India, being a tropical country, receives an especially high concentration of UV radiation that calls for added protection for skin.
Unfortunately, a lot of times, most consumers think that a high SPF sunscreen is enough to guarantee complete protection. However, SPF only measures protection against UVB rays, which form a small proportion of the total UV radiation received, the officials noted.
The larger proportion of UV radiation is composed of UVA rays, which in addition to being far more invasive than UVB are also responsible for premature aging.
The L'Oréal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence is also enriched with Advanced Mexoryl XL Filters that protect against a broad spectrum UVA/UVB rays, Adenosine that repairs deep skin damage and fights wrinkles, and Vitamin E that helps fight against free radicles and external stress, the officials informed.
L'Oréal Paris said that other than the expert sun protection provided by this product, it is also extremely suited to the humid Indian climate.
Aqua Essence is the first product from the L'Oréal Paris UV perfect range that is a lightweight gel composition, making it feel like water when applied on the skin.
It is fresh, non-greasy, non-sticky and quickly gets absorbed into the skin.
It is designed to not only provide extreme sun-protection, but also keep the skin hydrated and feeling fresh, supple and smoother.
The product is priced at Rs.475 and is available across all L’Oreal Paris outlets
