Nobel winner Satyarthi on Bharat Yatra to campaign against child abuse, to reach Siliguri on Wednesday
The Yatra will begin from Siliguri's Ram Krishna Club at 10 am and move through Panitanki More, Sevoke Road, Hill Cart Road, finally ending near Kanchenjunga Stadium.
Around 10,000 people from all walks of life are expected to join the march in Siliguri, according to the organisers, as a mark of protest against the injustices that children of this country are suffering from.
Satyarthi with other dignitaries will address the participants on the problems of child sexual abuse, trafficking and how the country must come together to combat it.

The Yatra started on Sep 11 from Kanyakumari and will conclude on Oct 16 at New Delhi, covering 11,000 kilometres across 22 states.
The Yatra has received support from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kailash Satyarthi has been campaigning for the freedom, safety and security of children across the globe for the past 36 years.
His Nobel Peace Prize (2014) was for his continuous efforts and struggle for child rights.
The Yatra is part of a three-year campaign against child rape and child sexual abuse, and is aimed at increasing awareness and reporting of the cases, strengthening institutional responses, including medical health and compensations, ensuring protection for victims and witnesses during trials, and increasing convictions of child sexual abuse in a time bound manner.
