Now coconut shells sold on Amazon, netizens left amused

New York, Jan 16 (IBNS): The internet is full of several amazing events occurring regularly and believe it or not e-commerce giant Amazon recently sold coconut shells on its website and at a whopping price of USD 9.80.

The product was even described on the website as: "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

Indians were left absolutely amazed after seeing a modest item like a coconut shell being sold online to customers.

The shells have been branded as 'Natural Coconut Shell Cup'.

Twitter users left amused:

One Mathew Thomas tweeted: "@amazon @AmazonHelp Can you check this seller who is selling #Natural Coconut Shell Cup for RS 1365? We buy coconut for 35 RS and in #Kerala we don't pay. How natural can this be than the one that we buy? # https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0032TG0BO/."
