The Indian Oil Kolkata on WHEELS 7th Corporate Car Treasure Hunt 2024 was a resounding success, captivating Kolkata with an exciting motoring chase that saw 50 corporate houses competing fiercely for top honors.

Organized by Kolkata on Wheels in partnership with Saini Toyota, State Bank of India, CEAT, Hotel DeSovrani, 91.9 Friends FM, the Automobile Association of Eastern India, and Advise Advertising, the event brought the city to life on a Sunday full of adventure.

The Corporate Car Treasure Hunt is an engaging and competitive event where teams of up to four adults, each representing a different corporate entity, navigate through the city in their own vehicles.

At the start, each team receives a clue sheet filled with riddles. Solving these riddles leads them to various destinations across the city, where marshals verify their arrival by marking their track card.

This year, the event introduced elements of Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format rallying and scavenger hunts, adding extra excitement and complexity to the challenge.

Upon completing the hunt, teams were evaluated based on a predetermined points system, with the winner and runners-up decided accordingly.

Kolkata on WHEELS, a city-centric motoring magazine, has been organizing this Corporate Treasure Hunt every July.

"Now in its 7th Edition, the Corporate Car Treasure Hunt has become immensely popular among the corporate executives of the city of joy. It gives them the opportunity to shun the PPT presentations, Xcel Sheets, Sales Targets and Delivery Deadlines for one day and just let their hair down.

This format has a mix of both fun and intelligence. This year, our theme is Educational Institutions of Kolkata - both past and present. So the participants will get an opportunity to go back to their roots and relive many moments of their school and college days through the riddles and multiple choice questions. We have also incorporated a wee bit of TSD rallying and scavenger hunting to add a twist to the tale", said Joydip Sur, Editor, Kolkata on Wheels.
