A set of Buddhist-inspired arts won the hearts of visitors in Bodh Gaya during the Dzongsar Monlam and Siddhartha Festival 2023.

Organized as part of the Siddhartha’s Intent Art Project, the Siddhartha Festival Art Show, which was held from October 25 to 29, promised to be a profound and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees, reports The Bhutan Live.

The event is the brainchild of Siddhartha’s Intent, an international collective of Buddhist groups supporting the Buddhadharma activities of the revered Bhutanese lama, filmmaker, and author, Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.

The theme for the Siddhartha Festival Art Show is “Sahaja” (Sanskrit: spontaneous enlightenment). The show featured approximately 80 Buddhist-inspired artworks created by 18 international artists. Siddhartha’s Intent aims to inspire artists and potential artists to express and share the Dharma through their creations while drawing all those who view it closer to Buddha’s wisdom, the news portal reported.
