Kolkata, Jan 26 (IBNS): Fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani last week made his debut in eastern India with the launch of Kolkata boutigue at Galleria 1910 here.

The store focuses primarily on the ready to wear and occasion wear collection. In addition, there are menswear and some bridal representation.

The 2200 sq.ft. store is divided into 2 floors, with two mezzanine levels and an internal elevator to take the customers through the space.

The pattern flows with brass inlay, exquisite wooden dado, elaborate staircases and soft chandelier lighting over his signature wallpapers create an exquisite ambience that is similar to those in New Delhi and in the other locations.

The ground floor will showcase the ready to wear and menswear collections.  The first floor houses the occasion wear and bridal.

Speaking on the launch, Tahiliani said: “Kolkata has always had the most exquisite mix of architecture and a bustling vibe of a metropolis, a city where tradition has been kept alive”.
