Tom Alter conducts acting workshop for MAAC Chowringhee students

Kolkata, Sept 18 (IBNS): In its constant endeavor to provide high quality education and hardwire MAAC Students to the dynamics of the job industry, MAAC Chowringhee has organised an acting workshop ‘Meet the Masters’ with Padmashree and actor of Indian film industry Tom Alter.

Naveen Choudhury Director of MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari, and Kakurgachi felicitated Tom Alter on his contribution towards Indian Cinema.

The Pune (FTII) graduate Tom Alter delivered an invigorating acting workshop, for MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari and Kakurgachi students, and nuanced the finer points in acting to the young media aspirants of MAAC.

In his baritone voice, cool mannerisms, silken touch and impeccable demonstrations Alter dolling-out several straightforward advices to the students was the highlights of the workshop.

Commenting on the workshop, Shajan Samuel Senior Vice President MAAC (India) said that the acting workshop delivered by Padmashree Tom Alter was in line with MAAC’s commitment to offer comprehensive education, tight exit gates and industry-led curriculum which would help students achieve better placement opportunities.

Adding to Shajan’s views, Naveen Choudhury Director of MAAC Chowringhee, MAAC Rashbehari and MAAC Kakurgachi expressed his delight on the workshop and remarked that it was a great opportunity for the students of MAAC to learn the nuances of acting from an astute and versatile actor like Tom Alter.
