UPSC Civil Services Exam 2014 results announced, Ira Singhal tops

New Delhi, July 4 (IBNS): The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday announced its civil services exam for this year where four women topped the ranks.

A total number of 1236 candidates have been recommended for appointments to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and different Central services posts.

Ira Singhal, Renu Raj, Nidhi Gupta and Vandana Rao hold the first four positions in the examination.

Ira is a Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise) officer from Delhi.
