In a stir fry, it’s not only proportion- it’s timing too: cooking times are in seconds and fractions of seconds, yet proportion continues to dominate the scene.

Chef Tan & Chef Ninja, the chefs at the Vintage Asia specialize in Chinese and Thai cuisine respectively.

Chef Tan’s attention to detail and presentation, and Chef Ninja’s creative style and intense flavours can give you a feel of what to expect at Vintage Asia. One can start their meal with a long spout personalized tea service- Chinese Tea ceremony to help cleanse your palate before the meal.

The must try from Vintage Asia menu’s Steam section is ‘Beijing vegetable dumpling with celery & mushroom, sesame sauce’ and the ‘Chicken, Shitake Siumai’. The Wok section, comprising of the stir-fry’s, should not be missed like the ‘Wok seared pork belly & pineapple in Chef Tan’s brown sauce’ and the ‘Phad Thai, flat noodle with tamarind & chili’.

A Thai meal is not complete without the curries, thus look out for the ‘Thai Green Fish Curry, Broccoli, Pea aborigine, Choy Sum’ with its intense flavours and fish, which is the city’s favourite meat.

End your meal with ‘Tub Tim Krob- Chilled Jellied Waterchest nut, sweetened coconut cream’ with its innovative mix of tang.
