WB State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts, RBU's Department of Sculpture holds 6-day workshop on mask making

Kolkata, Mar 7 (IBNS): The West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts and the Department of Sculpture, Rabindra Bharati University held a six-day residential workshop on the making of Rava masks at the Jela Parishad Bungalow in Kamakhyaguri, and also in some of its surrounding areas in Alipurduar in West Bengal.
The workshop was held from Feb 5 to 10.
 
It was conducted by Shantiram Rava, Jiban Rava and Loluk Rava who are skilled in mask making and wood carving. 

The participants, totalling nearly 50, comprised students of the Department of Sculpture, Rabindra Bharati University, and others who are residents of Kamakhyaguri and its surrounding areas.
