5 detained in Kashmir for spreading rumours
Srinagar, Nov 22 (IBNS): Five persons have been detained for allegedly spreading rumors, exaggerating incidents and promoting poll boycott on social networking sites, a police official said on Saturday.
According to the official, five persons have been detained from different parts of the Valley as they were allegedly found involved in promoting fake news, exaggerating incidents and polling boycott.
The police have registered cases against them for putting up fake posts.
