66.30% voter turnout recorded in Assam’s four seats till 5 pm

Guwahati, Oct 21 : 66.30 percent voter turnout has been recorded till 5 pm for the bye election in Assam in four assembly constituencies.

According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), 66.30% voter turnout was recorded till 5 pm in four assembly constituencies in Assam, where bye election polling is underway.

The voting has begun in four assembly constituencies in Assam – Ratabari, Rangapara, Sonari and Jania.

64.21% voter turnout has been recorded in Ratabari seat while, 69.80% in Rangapara, 66.40% in Sonari and 65.17% in Jania seat.

A total of 6,77,367 will vote from four assembly seats in 830 polling stations.

On the other hand, 89.27% voter turnout has been recorded till 5 pm in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Khonsa seat and 64.13% in Meghalaya’s Shella seat.
