Air India flight from Mumbai to Newark diverted to Kazakhstan

New Delhi, Aug 25 (IBNS): An Air India flight, which was flying from Mumbai to Newark city in the USA, has been diverted to Kazakhstan, officials said on Thursday.

Air India said the move has been made due to operational reasons.

"AIUpdate: #AI191 #Mumbai - #Newark has been diverted to #Kazakhstan due to operational reasons. All pax are being taken care of," the national carrier tweeted.

More details are awaited.
