Guwahati, Feb 24 (IBNS): All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) had directly refused to all speculation on a pre poll alliance with ruling Congress ahead of the State assembly poll scheduled in 2016.

AIUDF Chief and MP Badaruddin Ajmal on Tuesday said that his party have maintained on previous "Ekla Cholo" (Walk Alone) policy.

"We will maintain equidistant from both Congress and BJP. But the party will give extended support to third front, " Ajmal said.

Ajmal said that, the Congress are intended to sow confusion among the party workers ahead of State assembly poll.

Recently, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said there is possibility of a pre poll alliance with AIUDF in the state while the Ajmal led-party had gave support to UPA government.
