Ajmal not named in squad for Sri Lanka Test series

Islamabad, June 3 (IBNS): Pakistani selectors have dropped spinner Saeed Ajmal from the squad which will play three-Test away series against Sri Lanka.

Chairman PCB Shaharyar Mohammad Khan has approved Pakistan Test squad for the forthcoming three-Test away series against Sri Lanka following the recommendation of the four-member selection committee headed by Haroon Rashid.

In naming the Test squad, the selection committee had also consulted with the Pakistan team management including Head Coach Waqar Younis and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.

The 15-member Test squad is given below:

Azhar Ali (Vice-Captain)
Misbah-ul-Haq (Captain)
