Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday announced that three more separatist organizations have announced their disassociation from the Hurriyat Conference.

The organisations have been identified as the  Jammu Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Democratic League, and Kashmir Freedom Front.

Making the announcement on X, Shah said: "Three more organizations, namely Jammu Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Democratic League, and Kashmir Freedom Front, disassociate themselves from the Hurriyat. It is a prominent demonstration of the people's trust in the Constitution of India within the valley."

Praising Indian PM Narendra Modi's policies, Shah said: "Modi Ji's vision for a united and powerful Bharat stands even more bolstered today, as so far 11 such organizations have shunned separatism, proclaiming unwavering support for it."

Last month, Shah said that separatism has become history in Kashmir and lauded PM Narendra Modi-led government for the achievement.

In his post on X platform Home Minister had said, the unifying policies of the Modi government have tossed separatism out of Jammu and Kashmir.

He made the remarks at a time when two organizations associated with the Hurriyat have announced the severing of all ties with separatism.

Amit Shah said that he welcomes this step towards strengthening 'Bharat's unity' and urge all such groups to come forward and shed separatism once and for all.

Shah said that it is a 'big victory' for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of building a developed, peaceful and 'unified Bharat'.

Earlier this month, the Indian government declared ‘Jammu & Kashmir Ittihadul Muslimeen’ (JKIM)’ and ‘Awami Action Committee (AAC)’ as unlawful associations for a period of 5 years under Section 3(1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) 1967.

The Modi-led government has declared ten separatist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir unlawful associations under the UAPA since coming to power in 2014.
