Amit Shah to visit Assam today

Guwahati, Feb 17 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah will visit Assam on Sunday.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP chief will hold meetings with the party members and also discuss poll strategies.

During his day-long visit, Shah will address a gathering of party’s Yuva Morcha at Lakhimpur.

According to the reports, the BJP chief will land at Lilabari airport in Lakhimpur at around 11-45 am.

BJP Yuva Morcha president Poonam Mahajan will also present in the Yuva Morcha meeting.

He will also take part in the bhoomi pujan function of Assam state BJP’s new office building in Guwahati today evening.
