Amitabh Bachchan contributes Rs 2 cr for 400-bed Covid facility at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara in Delhi

New Delhi/IBNS: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has donated Rs 2 crore for the Covid-care center at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara in Delhi, scheduled to operate from Monday, said Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee president Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

"Sikhs are legendary, Salute to their service" Bachchan made the contribution with this message, said Sirsa who is also the national spokesperson for Akali Dal party. 

The legendary actor has also ensured that oxygen concentrators from the overseas reached the facility. He also asked Sirsa not to worry about money and sav as many lives as possible.

"While Delhi was struggling for Oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to enquire about the progress of this facility," he added.

Rakab Ganj Gurdwara facilty which will start operating from Monday will be a 400-bed Covid-care cenre with all amenities to manage critical covid cases like doctors, paramedics, ambulances and oxygen concentrators.
