Ansari condoles former diplomat Arundhati Ghose's death

The Vice President of India, Shri M. Hamid Ansari has condoled the passing away of former diplomat Arundhati Ghose.

In a message, he said that she is an eminent diplomat and she will be remembered for her services to the nation, including for her role as head of the Indian delegation that participated in the CTBT negotiations. 

Following is the text of Vice President’s message: 

“I am deeply grieved to hear about the passing away of former diplomat Ms. Arundhati Ghose. 

An eminent diplomat, Ms. Arundhati Ghose will be remembered for her services to the nation, including for her role as head of the Indian delegation that participated in the CTBT negotiations at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva in 1996. 

I offer my heartfelt condolences to her family members and pray for eternal peace for the departed soul.”
