Article 370: Seven-judge bench referral order in abeyance
New Delhi/UNI: The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved verdict on whether the petitions challenging the scrapping of Article 370 which used to provide special status to Jammu and Kashmir should be heard by a larger seven-judge bench.
Headed by Justice N B Ramana, a five-judge bench today wrapped up the hearing and arguments on the point of reference.
The Centre opposed the reference to the larger bench.
"We are reserving the verdict on the issue of referring the matter to a larger seven-judge bench," ruled Apex Court.
