Guwahati, Aug 12 (IBNS) : Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday condemned Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for his statement accusing the Congress for causing disruption in the proceedings of the Parliament which, according to Jaitley, adversely affects the growth of the country.

“If such disruption affects the growth of the country, then Jaitley must apologise now for the disruption they had caused during his tenure as leader of the Opposition which also affected the growth of the country,” Assam CM said in a statement.

The Parliament on Wednesday witnessed debate over the controversy surrounding former IPL chief Lalit Modi.
