Arvind Kejriwal, CM Atishi to contest Delhi polls from current constituencies

New Delhi/IBNS: Arvind Kejriwal is all set to contest the Delhi Assembly elections from his current constituency New Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s fourth list of candidates released on Sunday shows.

Besides Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and ministers Saurabh Bharadwaj and Gopal Rai will also contest from their current seats, Kalkaji, Greater Kailash and Babarpur, respectively.

With the fourth list released, the AAP has now announced the names of candidates for all 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly.

Soon after AAP released its final list of candidates, Kejriwal said the party would contest these polls with full confidence and preparations.

"The BJP is invisible. They don't have a Chief Minister face, a team or a plan, or a vision for Delhi. They have just one slogan and missing -- 'remove Kejriwal'. Ask them what they have done for five years, they will say 'we abused Kejriwal'," Kejriwal said, who resigned from the post after getting released from jail and said he would return only after the verdict in the "people's court"

The AAP supremo said his party has a vision for the development of Delhi and its people.

"We have a list of work we have done in 10 years. Delhi residents will vote for those who work, not those who abuse," he said.

Other senior leaders included in the list are Durgesh Pathak (Rajinder Nagar), Somnath Bharti (Malviya Nagar), Satyendar Jain (Shakur Basti), Imran Hussain (Ballimaran), and Amanatullah Khan (Okhla). 

Polling to the 70-member Delhi Legislative Assembly is scheduled to be held in February next year.
