Assam: 95 new cases take state's COVID-19 count to 2776

Guwahati/UNI:  The number of COVID 19 positive cases in Assam has increased to 2776 with detection of 95 new cases today, while 29 patients were also discharged during the day.

State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma informed of the new cases as well discharges through Twitter.

Among the new patients, 37 are from Nagaon,16 from Kamrup and ten each from Darrang and Kamrup (rural) districts.

Meanwhile, 29 patients were discharged from different hospitals of the state today, after they tested negative for the virus twice.

The number of recovered patients has reached 665.

The number of active cases in the state now stands at 2104, while four have died so far.
