Assam Revenue Minister flags off exposure trip for Recoders Certificate Class Course trainees
Guwahati: Assam Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jogen Mohan flagged off an exposure trip of Recorders Certificate Class Course ( RCCC ) trainees to North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Meghalaya from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre on Monday.
This training programme at NESAC scheduled from Feb 21 to 25 is organised in accordance with the spirit of MoU executed between North Eastern Space Applications Centre and Assam Survey & Settlement Centre.
For first time a special training will be given to RCCC trainees on GIS, Remote Sensing & Drone Technology.
It is expected to be extremely beneficial for the field functionaries of land revenue administration towards efficient land management.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that training centres play a major role increasing the efficiency of government servants in their respective fields.
He said that lat mandal play a crucial role in land related matters and application of modern technology will help them a long way while dealing with matters of land survey.
"Application of modern technology in land survey will also give boost to flagship programmes like 'Misson Basundhara'," added the Minister.
Amitabh Rajkhowa, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Revenue & DM Department and Pankaj Chakravarty, Principal of Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre were also present during the flag off ceremony.
