Assam Rifles conduct youth conclave in Nagaland’s Peren

Guwahati/IBNS: Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted Youth Conclave in Nagaland’s Peren district on Wednesday.

The conclave was attended by local youth, school and college dropout students of Peren Town and nearby villages.

The aim of the conclave was to discuss the importance of positive thoughts, hard work and perseverance which can bring about meaningful and impactful changes in the society.

It was also highlighted that if youth work with the intent to evolve our society for a better tomorrow and strive for excellence in their respective fields, they can bring about any changes.

The conclave also underlined the need of addressing adolescent and youth health issues as the two make for the biggest social group. It also addresses the range of social issues like drug addiction, unemployment, violence etc.

They were also made aware that a concerted effort is required to address such challenges by the youth.

The local youth and the students who attended the conclave appreciated the gesture of the Assam Rifles apart from expressing their willingness to maintain close liaison with the Security forces. They also showed gratitude for the efforts to bring welfare & mutual cooperation in the area.
