Azam khan accuses EC of 'helping' BJP win LS

| | May 11, 2014, at 07:07 pm
Lucknow, May 11 (IBNS): Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan on Sunday accused the Election Commission (EC) of helping the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) win the Lok Sabha elections.
"EC is helping the BJP to fight the elections which is why Amit Shah is set free after his remarks on Azamgarh," Azam Khan said.

He said calling Azamgarh "a hub of terrorism" in totally "unconstitutional".

Azam Khan was against the Commission ever since he was banned from campaigning in Uttar Pradesh for his remarks on Kargil war.

He launched more attacks after EC lifted the ban on Amit Shah.

Shah was in controversy after he said at an rally: "What kind of a government are they running that they made Azamgarh a hub of terrorism?"
