Bangalore: Teenager rapes, kills nine-year-old

Bangalore, June 2 (IBNS) A 19-year-old youth allegedly raped and killed a nine-year-old girl in Bangalore, said reports on Monday.

According to reports, the victim was the daughter of a bus conductor of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).

The victim was reportedly missing since Saturday evening and was her blood-covered body was found on Sunday from a mango orchard.

The police said the girl's neighbour confessed to the crime and said he took the girl to the orchard luring her to give mangoes and raped and killed her.

The girl's body was found after the accused, who was first arrested as a suspect, disclosed the deserted location.

The girl, a resident of Yadgir in Karnataka came to Bangalore to spend her summer holiday with her father, who works here.
