Mumbai, Jan 25 (IBNS): Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM) chief Prakash Ambedkar has given a January 30 deadline to the Congress to form an alliance proposal in Maharashtra ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

According to reports, Ambedkar has demanded 12 of the 48 parliamentary seats from the Congress.

On Thursday, Ambedkar also demanded that out of those seats, two candidates each should be from Mali, Muslim and Dhangar communities.

He left the decision with the Congress to select the 12 seats.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisas, on the other hand, has announced that he did not want a single seat from the Congress.

He also made clear that he wouldn't take part in any rally organised by the Congress party.
