Bengal Global Business Summit generated new investment proposals of Rs 2,50,104 crore: Mamata

Kolkata, Jan 9 (IBNS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday said the Bengal Global Business Summit has generated staggering new investment proposals of Rs 2,50,104 crore.

"Exceeding the investment proposals of 2015, this Summit generated staggering new investment proposals of Rs 2,50,104 Crore," Banerjee wrote in Facebook.

"The improved ease of doing business in Bengal has attracted the trust and confidence of industry captains, policy makers and stakeholders in industry and business," she said.

"It goes without saying that implementation of the new projects would lead to incredibly large number of job potential for my brothers and sisters. Bengal surges ahead," she said.

 

The summit started on Friday.
