Bengaluru horror: Elder brother kills sibling over abuse, dumps body in lake

In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old man, Dhanaraj, was killed by his elder brother Shivaraj, 28, with the help of two friends, inside a car in Bengaluru. The body was later dumped into a lake, media reports said.

Dhanaraj, a resident of Kalaburagi district, reportedly had a history of theft, violence, and assault, including attacks on his family.

Unable to tolerate his behavior, Shivaraj allegedly planned the murder under the pretext of helping him find a job.

On November 2, the three men lured Dhanaraj to Bengaluru. While in the car, Shivaraj struck him on the neck with a machete, killing him.

The body was abandoned along Bannerghatta–Kaggalipura road, reports said.

The car’s floor mat and the weapon were discarded near Electronic City-NICE Road.

The decomposed body was found on November 6. CCTV footage later confirmed the crime, leading to the arrest of Shivaraj, Sandeep (24), and Prashanth (26).

All three have been sent to judicial custody, and a murder case has been filed.
