Bharat Center of Canada holds workshop to explore new pathways for India and Canada

Toronto: To promote awareness of collaboration options between Canada and India, a workshop titled  'Exploring New Pathways for Canada-India Collaborations'  is being held on Friday here under the aegis of Bharat Center of Canada.

The discussion will provide diverse views from distinguished experts, practitioners, academics, policymakers from Canada and India. Expert panellists will share unique insight on the subject.

Canada and India have long standing bilateral relationships built upon shared traditions of democracy, pluralism, strong interpersonal connections and longstanding people-to-people ties, The two countries have embarked on a process aimed at improving and expanding their bilateral contacts.

The discussions will provide understanding on expanding the opportunities, bring out a new vision and innovative ideas. The topic of presentations will provide an interdisciplinary approach giving comparative perspectives.

The panellists will highlight How 'Make in India" campaign can attract Canadian companies? global innovation, capability centres, and development centres are thriving in India, serving the global requirements. Also, the discussion Will focus on what can be done to increase trade between Canada and India.

The panellists will discuss the existing collaboration and articulate the factors underpinning success and identify bottlenecks and challenges. Expert speakers will recognize future possibilities and emerging opportunities. The idea is to bring out the new approach and develop appropriate and relevant policies to changing and challenging circumstances.
