Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Foreign Minister of Mauritius, Dhananjay Ramful, recently paid floral tributes to late Indian PM Manmohan Singh at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal wrote on X: "Paying heartfelt respects to former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh."

"His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck & FM of Mauritius Dhananjay Ramful paid floral tributes to former PM in his final journey at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi today,"Jaiswal said.

Singh, who served as India's prime minister from 2004 to 2014, passed away at 92 on December 26 at AIIMS Delhi.

His last rites were performed on Saturday at Nigambodh Ghat with full state honours.

Manmohan Singh rose to prominence as the country's finance minister during the Congress regime headed by PV Narasimha Rao during 1991-96, for bringing sweeping reforms that transformed the economy.

He retired from the Rajya Sabha in April.
