Bihar BJP accuses Nitish Kumar of adopting Muslim appeasement policy
Patna/UNI: Blaming Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for adopting policies to "appease Muslims", Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday suggested that the JD(U) leader "better go to Pakistan for his deliberate appeasement policies".
BJP Bihar unit spokesperson Nikhil Anand said that Nitish Kumar continued to keep a particular person in the post of home secretary for 10 years and then elevated him to the post of chief secretary.
Retorting sharply at the appointment letters distributed recently by the Chief Minister among the Muslim candidates, the BJP leader alleged that Kumar's intention was to appoint Urdu teachers in every school.
He questioned the need to employ Urdu-knowing people in Bihar and fumed that now Urdu translators will be appointed in every police station.
He said that BJP would not let continue such religion-based appeasement policy.
Anand alleged that the lives of people belonging to Dalit- OBC and EBC society have been ruined in the Muslim-dominated bordering district of Bihar.
He said that more than 20000 people have been trained in PFI which was exposed under the very nose of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Requesting Nitish Kumar not to make Bihar a "Pakistan" Anand alleged that the former was patronising PFI and asked him to better migrate to Pakistan instead of placing Bihar on the pile of gunpowder.
He said if Kumar fails to restrain himself, the BJP will ensure his farewell.
Meanwhile reacting sharply at the statement by Nikhil Anand, JD(U) state spokesperson Abhishek Jha alleged that BJP leaders have lost their mental balance.
He alleged that BJP indulged in hatred politics to ruin the cordial atmosphere by targeting a particular society.
He said that Nitish Kumar respects all religions and believes in the ideology of harmony.
