Bihar mother throws out newborn baby girl, dogs feast on it

Patna, Jan 19 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): In a shocking incident, a woman in Bihar threw away her new-born baby girl on the river bank on Thursday, leaving the stray dogs feast on her.

The incident took place in Madhaura locality of Saran district, previous home constituency of RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

The local villagers on Thurday woke up to see a pack of hounds fighting among themselves to snatch something from each other’s mouth along a river bank.

When they moved closer, they the body of a new-born baby girl in their mouths and drove them away.

Subsequently, a local villager came forward and conducted the last rites of the baby, reports said.

The incident comes barely a day after a woman from Samastipur district of Bihar killed her six-day-old baby girl and then dumped into the safety tank of the toilet as she didn’t want to bring up the second daughter.
