Bihar: SSB jawan commits suicide in Jamui

Jamui, Apr 27 (UNI) A jawan of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Vaibhav Kumar Singh today committed suicide by firing from his service revolver under Sikandara police station area in Jamui district.

Police Superintendent Jagannath Reddy said here that SSB jawan Singh posted in Korasi of Sikandara police station area, was of 32nd battalion and he committed suicide by firing from his service revolver. Reason behind the extreme step taken by him was not known yet, he said, adding that the case was being investigated.

Reddy said that the deceased jawan was native of Lalganj police station area in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. His body had been sent for postmortem, he added.
