Bihar woman gang-raped in moving ambulance after she fell unconscious during Home Guard Test

Patna/IBNS: A Bihar woman was allegedly gang-raped inside an ambulance while she was transported to a hospital after she fainted during a Home Guard physical test, media reports said.

The 26-year-old fainted while undergoing a physical endurance test during the Home Guard recruitment exercise at Bihar Military Police Grounds in Bodh Gaya on July 24.

She was transported to the hospital in an ambulance which was arranged by the event organisers.

The woman has alleged that she was gang-raped inside the ambulance in her unconscious state. She told police that three-four people raped her.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed by police.

The ambulance driver Vinay Kumar and technician on board Ajit Kumar have been arrested by a Special Investigation Team (SIT).

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has trained his guns at the NDA government over the alleged failure of law and order.

In an X post, Tejashwi wrote, "... In Bihar, would you call this a demonic rule? A depraved rule protected by criminals? A mega-jungle rule, or the misrule of Modi-Nitish?

"In the demonic rule of Modi-Nitish, the dignity of mothers, sisters, daughters, and innocents is being looted daily in this manner, yet no minister or deputy chief minister dares to utter a word about the uncontrolled incidents of crime, rape, and corruption?"

"The silence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his two so-called deputies on burning issues is criminal. If even such incidents do not make the blood boil of the so-called enlightened and justice-loving people who are steeped in prejudice, then understand that such people are first-class, hardcore casteist and biased individuals."
