BJP veterans unhappy over suspension of Kirti Azad

New Delhi, Dec 25 (IBNS) In a sign of an internal squabbling over the suspension of Kirti Azad and the row over DDCA corruption , BJP veterans, including L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi have reportedly expressed unhappiness over the action against the Darbhanga MP.

According to media reports, the veterans are unhappy over Azad's suspension as they feel that the decision was taken in haste and may cause more harm to the party.

The veterans reportedly  feel there should be an internal inquiry into the allegations made by Azad over DDCA. Another party leader Subramanian Swamy has also come out in support of Azad. He will be helping Azad in drafting his reply to the suspension notice.

Azad, who has been vocal against Union Fiance Minister Arun Jaitley for the corruption in DDCA which the BJP veteran headed for 13 years, has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene. He has also demanded to know "specific reasons" for the disciplinary action against him by the party.

"BJP and RSS always speak about uprooting corruption. We also talk about walking the path of Mahatma Gandhi. Thus, I wish that Narendra Modiji intervenes in this issue, goes deeper in it, and then tells me about what I have done wrong, as I need specific answers," Azad has said.
