Black-flags to Modi during his US visit

Washington, Sept 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be going to face protests by a certain group who is learnt will hold rallies against him when he visits US later this week, media reported.
According to media reports, several “Anti-Modi” groups will hold different protest rallies against him. 
 
It has been learnt that, one such organization who goes by the name ‘Alliance for Justice and Accountability’ (AJA) on Monday announced that it will show black flags to Modi when he heads to the Madison Square Garden in mid-town Manhattan in New York on September 28. 
 
It is noteworthy to mention that AJA mostly comprises of Indian-American organizations and individuals who were part of ‘Coalition Against Genocide’ (CAG), which had successfully campaigned against US visa to Modi, when he was the Gujarat Chief Minister. 
 
The group refer itself as a coalition of individuals and organizations that are concerned about the rapid erosion of human rights and religious freedom in India.
 
On the other hand, the ‘Sikh For Justice’ (SFJ) announced to convene a "Citizens'Court" to "indict" Modi at a park in front of the White House on September 30, when the Prime Minister would be meeting US President Barack Obama at his Oval Office. 
 
According to media reports, the 'indictment' proceedings will be conducted in a replica court room set up in the President's Park right in the front of the White House. 
 
The 'chargesheet' issued by SFJ lists actions of Modi" during the 2002 Gujarat riots.
 
Modi will begin his US tour on September 26. He will be travelling to Washington and New York and will be holding series of meetings. 
 
Modi is expected to address the United Nations General Assembly (‎UNGA) on 27 September where he will also meet leaders of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal besides paying homage at the 9/11 memorial in New York.
 
PM would address some 20,000 Indian- Americans - from 48 American States and five Canadian provinces – at the Madison Square garden on 28 September.
 
Modi will meet US President Barack Obama on the 29th and 30th in Washington. He will have meetings with heads of eleven American companies including ‪‎Google‬ and ‪‎Pepsico‬.
